Kevin Gonzalez
Technology
“Have you seen a man skillful at his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before common men.” - Proverb
Kevin is a Trial Presentation Specialist who enjoys the challenge of bringing technology, preparation and a sense of calm to the often unpredictable world of trial. He approaches every case as part of the trial team and takes pride in being someone attorneys can rely on when the pressure is high and the details matter.
He has supported litigation teams in courtrooms, war rooms, hearings, arbitrations and trials across the country. His experience includes building and managing trial databases, preparing exhibits and deposition designations, creating video clips and running the hot seat during trial. Just as important to Kevin is understanding how the attorneys want to present their case so the technology feels like a natural extension of their strategy rather than something they have to think about.
Kevin is a firm believer that what happens in the courtroom is often a reflection of the preparation that happens beforehand. Long prep days are never an inconvenience to him because that work translates directly into smoother transitions between the attorney, the exhibit and the witness when it matters most. He enjoys learning the case, thinking several steps ahead and anticipating what the team may need before they have to ask for it.
Adaptability is also a big part of Kevin’s approach. Trials rarely go exactly according to plan. Witness orders change, exhibits appear at the last minute and strategies evolve throughout the day. Kevin enjoys working through those moments, finding solutions and keeping things moving without allowing the technology to become a distraction. His goal is for the attorneys he supports to feel confident that when they ask for something in the courtroom, it will be there.
Above all, Kevin values being a good teammate. He enjoys collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, consultants and fellow trial technicians and believes that the best trial teams are built on preparation, communication and trust.
Outside of the courtroom, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, watching movies, traveling and following soccer and football. He is also a licensed drone pilot, because apparently working with courtroom technology wasn’t enough equipment to keep track of. Drone pilots may not be needed in the courtroom just yet, but he likes to stay prepared.
